Here are some pictures from our freelance meetup at the Impact Hub Madrid Alameda — a fantastic coworking place in the Barrio de las Letras, the cultural heart of the Spanish capital and former home to Miguel de Cervantes, Lope de Vega, and other writers.
As part of the meetup, we held a long and engaging deep-dive debate about freelance pricing, business negotiations, and numerous other topics including maintaining solid work/life balance and mental health.
Overall, freelancers originating from 10 countries attended the meetup: Estonia, UK, Germany, USA, Panama, Mexico, India, Ukraine, Czechia, and Spain. That’s how diverse a freelance meetup in a cosmopolitan city like Madrid can be.
Many thanks to Jaime Calatayud and all his colleagues at Impact Hub Madrid, which co-organized the event with us.
Next month, we will hold a similar freelance meetup in Dresden.
